Holy Trinity Nursery School Mission

Our mission is to provide a caring, Christian environment in which each child is recognized and valued as individual.  Our goal is to foster positive self-esteem and independence through hands on experiences that encourage a lifelong love of learning, develop social skills, and support academic growth.

 

Holy Trinity Nursery School provides preschool readiness programs designed to achieve goals of social, emotional, and academic growth in a Christian nurturing environment to help prepare our preschoolers for a successful kindergarten experience. We meet our objectives through music, art, daily structured lessons, fine and gross motor activities, and creative "free choice" activities such as easel painting, play-dough, cutting and pasting, block building, library time and imaginative play. We utilize low teacher child ratios (1:6 in our 3’s and 1:8 in our 4/5 & K-Club), to allow our dedicated teachers to reach the needs of every child.

Holy Trinity Nursery School offers a variety of 2, 3 and 5 day programs that serve children ages 3 -5 years. Our school operates from 9:00 am -11:30 am, in addition we have extended care available in both the morning and afternoon.

We also offer K-Club for both AM and PM kindergarten students in the Wallingford Swarthmore School District. K-Club is a kindergarten complement program open from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm (AM session), or 11:30 am - 3:30 pm (PM session) in accordance with the Wallingford Swarthmore School District calendar.

All Preschool and K-Club classes are staffed with a Lead Teacher possessing a 4 year degree in education and an Assistant Teacher. All teachers and staff have been properly background checked, possess certification in both CPR and First Aide, completed Mandated Reporter training and attend professional development to keep them abreast of the latest in curriculum and educational research.
